Recently, Shenzhen Urban Transport Planning Center Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "SUTPC") has achieved consecutive breakthroughs in its international business, winning two smart transportation projects in Singapore: the Road Safety Management System Project, initiated by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) and funded by the National Research Foundation (NRF); and the Traffic Planning Software Procurement and Prototype Development Support Services Project under the Land Transport Authority (LTA). Leveraging its independently developed next-generation intelligent transportation operating system, the TransPaaS platform, SUTPC will help Singapore enhance integrated traffic data management and intelligent decision-making capabilities, providing efficient solutions for high-density urban traffic governance.
Road Safety Management System Project
This project is an innovative research initiative for urban traffic governance, jointly implemented by SUTPC International's Singapore Branch and Nanyang Technological University. Centered on multi-source data fusion and AI applications, the project integrates spatial analysis, machine learning, and causal inference to enable multi‑scale risk quantification—from network‑level hotspot identification to intersection‑level conflict analysis. It also supports simulation and prioritisation of control measures, improving the scientific rigor and operability of traffic safety management.
Traffic Planning Software Procurement and Prototype Development Support Services Project
SUTPC will leverage the TransPaaS platform, integrated with large models and artificial intelligence technologies, to deliver an integrated solution that combines “platform enablement + scenario deepening”. Built upon a unified data and analytics foundation, the solution continuously expands intelligent application capabilities in line with specific business scenarios, achieving a closed‑loop empowerment from data integration to decision support. This proven approach has been validated in the international market, offering strong standardisation and replicability, and can be rapidly adapted to meet the diverse needs of different cities.
The successful bid for these two major smart transportation projects signifies a further breakthrough for Chinese smart transportation technology in Singapore’s high‑standard market, and lays a solid foundation for SUTPC’s expansion into Southeast Asia. Looking forward, SUTPC will continue to deepen collaborative innovation with Singaporean and regional partners, promote the deployment of more replicable and scalable smart transportation solutions, and contribute Chinese expertise and solutions to the safety, efficiency, and sustainable development of urban transportation worldwide.
