Recently, the 2024 Abu Dhabi Mobility Week (ADMW), advocated by President Mohamed of the United Arab Emirates and hosted by the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport, grandly opened. This Mobility Week aims to shape the future transportation landscape of Abu Dhabi. The participants include government officials in the transportation industry, corporate executives, representatives of government agencies, experts from academic institutions, global regulatory bodies, and representatives of unicorn companies. In addition, many strategic partners supporting the event were invited to participate, including the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, Abu Dhabi Airports, Etihad Rail, Emirates Airlines, Bayanat, Abu Dhabi Transport, Abu Dhabi Ports Group, and ADQ Aerospace Services.
Shenzhen Smart City Technology Development Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "SZSC"), the controlling shareholder, and Shenzhen Urban Transport Planning Center Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "SUTPC"), were invited by the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport. This can increase the overall operating efficiency of urban transportation by 20%-30%, save more than 20% of the investment, improve citizens' travel experience, drive the development of new-quality productivity in the equipment industry cluster, and ensure the efficient operation of urban infrastructure lifelines. The innovative experiences of Shenzhen and China in smart cities and intelligent transportation have received high attention and extensive discussion from the participating representatives.
Guo Yangbo, Deputy General manager of Shenzhen Smart City Group, shared Shenzhen Smart City Group's construction experiences in the fields of digital twins and digital government in Shenzhen at the special symposium on "Accelerating the Popularization of Smart City Applications", including top-level design, the unified digital twin platform CIM, and the re-engineering of urban governance processes. Shenzhen has established the digital twin foundation of the city-wide spatiotemporal information platform (CIM platform), launched more than a hundred application scenarios, and is building a domestic-leading and world-class smart city and digital government to promote the high-quality development of the city, which has caused a warm response among the participating representatives.
Li Xucheng, Deputy Director of the International Business Department of SUTPC, introduced the overall plan and implementation experience of Shenzhen in the whole process of policy-making, regulation, planning, design, construction, and operation in the field of intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs) at the special symposium on "Accelerating Urban Transportation Development". This has helped Shenzhen become the first city in China to fully open up intelligent connected vehicle demonstration applications, attracting widespread attention.
